Promoting and Protecting Home Education in East Tennessee

"Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it." - Proverbs 22:6

Rally Day - Mar 19, 2019

We toured the Capitol, visited our legislators and thanked them for their service and support of home schooling. THEA was well represented by our Smoky Mountain chapter, two of our board families attended the rally and other SMHEA members were also present.  We delivered cookies to, ate with and spoke with legislators to let them know what we homeschoolers are like.  Let SMHEA know if you come across a high school student we can honor as an Outstanding Student for the 2020 Rally!

Graduation 2019 - May 18, 2019

We are now preparing for the 2019 Smoky Mountain Home Education Association graduation service.  We will be holding our ceremony on May 18, 2019 at Heritage Fellowship Church in Oak Ridge, TN.
